快適な住まいを実現する二重の壁
クライアントの要望は貸事務所付き住宅で、敷地は事務所、工場、マンションが混在する環境でした。このような条件でいかに快適な住環境をつくり上げるかがテーマとなりました。
地上４階建てとして、１、２階を貸事務所、３、４階をオーナー住宅としています。ＲＣ造として事務所と住宅お互いの音が聞こえない構成にしました。事務所は道路からの視認性を確保する大きな開口部を設け、機能的にレイアウトができる平面形としています。住宅は外壁の外側にもう一枚壁を設け、二重の壁の間を外部空間としました。外部空間は建物を囲うように配置しています。内側の壁は大きな開口部を設けて開放的とし、外側の壁は開口部を少なくしてプライバシーを確保しています。間の外部空間は、室内に光や風を送り込む役割を持つと共に、切り取られた空が見える二層吹き抜けの「庭」として上下階を繋げる空間となっています。この「庭」にせり出す室内空間や、逆に「庭」が室内に入り込んだスペースを設けて、内外が一体となった快適な住まいを実現しています。

Double walls for a comfortable home
The client’s request was for a house with an office space for rent, and the site was a place where offices, small factories, and apartments were all standing side by side. The theme was how to create a comfortable living environment under these conditions.
The building is four stories tall, with the first and second floors as offices for rent, and the third and fourth floors as the owner’s residence. The reinforced concrete structure ensures that the office and residence cannot hear each other. The office has a large opening to ensure visibility from the road, and the plan shape allows for a functional layout. The residence has another wall outside the exterior wall, and the space between the double walls is used as an exterior space. The exterior space is arranged to surround the building. The inner wall has a large opening to create an open feeling, and the outer wall has fewer openings to ensure privacy. The exterior space between the two walls not only brings light and wind into the room, but also connects the upper and lower floors as a two-story atrium “garden” with a view of the sky. By creating interior spaces that jut out into the garden and, conversely, spaces where the garden extends into the interior, we have created a comfortable home where the inside and outside are one.
